Abit KR7A Raid...any good??

Computer Geeks has this board for $59. Is it worth it? Is it a decent overclocker? I'll probably be putting a XP1600 on it.

It's a great motherboard, I've had mine running stable as a rock for two months now no install problems quick and easy set up. Don't cut corners on the memory to get it to run at fastest settings you will need good quality memory but you will have a great system. Be sure to make use of the info at via hardware for best settings.

It's an excellent board, a great overclocker and the fastest KT266A board that I've used. lessel is correct that you will need top quality memory to use the more agressive settingsin the bios, particularly the 1T command.

This will be replacing a Suttle AK31a.
How is this compared to, say, an Epox 8K3+?
Is the 333 chipset that much better than the 266?

This one is a great, fast motherboard, it has an excellent RAID controller, for this price (not much bigger than ECS boards) it is an excellent bargain........
PICK ONE UP RIGHT AWAY!!
