ABIT KR7A-Raid and using the additional USB ports

When i plug in the UB-20 ( The additional USB ports taht stick out the back in
one of the PCI expansion slots)
whatever device i plug in there just won't work. Won't even be detected.
Am i supposed to activate / initialize it or something? I'm confused. I thought
it was supposed to work without any starting or anything.
 
Check under the Integrated Peripherals menu in your BIOS. There is an option to enable the USB controller. Page 3-20 in your user manual if you have any questions.
