Abit KR7A raid and non-raid boards priced almost identically?

I just checked pricewatch and it appears the non raid KR7A boards are only a couple bucks cheaper than the raid boards. Why would anyone NOT buy a raid board if the price is virtually the same as non-raid? Or am I missing something here?

Any speculation on prices on the non-raid when it does become more widely available? Aren't non raid boards typically about $20-25 less than thier raid counterparts?

The Abit looks very interesting based on reports of people getting FSB speeds in excess of 175mhz and up to 192mhz (unless the CPUID screenshots were faked). To me that indicates a very strong design. I guess it should be considering they were the last company to get thier 266a based board to market.

KR7A have been out of a couple of days. Several online merchants have received them in the US.

DEC 5 -- I just got verification that my KR7A-R had shipped from Spartantech. If they're shipping, then everybody else ought to be within the week.
