I just bought this board and an opteron 165 and was planning on some moderate overclocking. I wasn't paying attention to the overclocking info on the 64's and found it was quite a bit different than what I have been doing in the past.
Anyhow I was reading this overclocking guide and the first thing they say is to go into the bios and set the pci lock. Actually it said lock the agp/pci bus. I have an pcie rather than agp. So I figure there should be one for the pci. I have been through the bios and I don't see anything close. Could it be locked by defalt? Anyone have any experience with this? Am I screwed as far as overclocking?
I hope not. That was the main reason I came over from asus. That and I wasn't real happy with my last board from Asus. Abit has been notorious for overclockers and have read they are nice stable boards. So thats what I bought. Sorry about the rambling it is really late.

Just in case anyone else has this question yes it can. You just lock in the pci-e at 100. Just like agp.
