Abit KG7Raid Help

I flashed Abit KG7R MB Bios to the latest ver kg79m. After that, I tried to boot it up with AMD XP 1700+/coolmaster HSF, V-card, Crucial DDR 256MB reg. Ram . The Bios automatically recognized my CPU as 1500(100). I have to set it up manually to 1700(133). However, after few min, my PC froze. I tried couples of times, it still keeps freezing. Anyone can help!

I would flash back to the previous bios, why did you update it anyways? Was there a problem you needed it ti resolve?

Airwalker, I got a similar problem. My CPU's a XP1800+, though, with a Volcano7. I thought that the problem was heat related but now that I think about it, that couldn't happen (it crashes too early for that to happen, and on pure DOS via Dr Dos it works just fine). I also have 256MB of Crucial 2100 RAM, and the CPU was recognized as a 1500.
