HEllo,

I am currently building a new system using the ABIT KG7-RAID. I have gotten most of the system up and running but I have experience some bugs and issues. These are:

- System does not detect High Point Raid Card if USB setting on BIOS is set to enabled on BIOS. USB has to be set to enable on OS for the Motherboard to detect Hard Drives on IDE 3 throught the High Point Raid. If USB Setting is set to BIOS sstem tries to boot from ATAPI CD_ROM for some weird reason since all Boot devices are set to ATA100RAID. :disgust:
- I have a Hercules Geforce 2 MMX 64 mb V-card. At the beggining of boot up on the BIOS SCreen for the V-Card I get conflicting Memory amounts. Sometimes it says it has 64, 32, or 16 mb.
- Does anybody know the IRQ Settigns so I can be sure I have no conflicts ?

Any help would be appreciated. My System is

CPU: AMD Athlon T-Bird 1.4ghz
MEmory: Crucial PC2100 2x256 mb of Unregistered DDR Ram
HArd Drive: IBM Deskstar 40gb 7200 rpm
V-Card: Hercules GeForce 2 MMX 64mb
S-Card: Creative Labs LIVE ! X-Gamer
DVD: PC-DVD Encore 12x with Dxr 3 Decoder Card
CD-RW: Plextor 16/10/40 CD-RW
OS: Windows 2000 Professional ( No Service Pack )

This system currently has no internet connection till later on next month .. :-( ... sucks .. I know ..

Thanks ,,

There have been reports of isssues with the AGP slots on the KG7's. As far as the USB and Highpoint issues, I'm not too sure. It probably won't help, but you might want to shoot Abit tech support an email and see what they say.
