Abit Kg7 raid mobo prob...plz help!!

I recently got the kg7 raid mobo and an agoia 1600+ xp cpu. The mobo is brand new from justdeals but when i install the comp the mobo only reads the cpu at 1050 mhz, even though it recognized the cpu to be a athlon xp cpu. I tried to change the setting from bios and when i set the cpu speed to default at 1600+ (1400mhz) it will not post. Even more weird, the mobo wont post anything other then 1050 mhz for the 1600+ athlon xp cpu i got from newegg. Can someone plz give me some suggestion? is my mobo defective or did i do something wrong? Thanks a lot for any help!

Set fsb to 133 10.5x133 is 1396.5. Your board is at 10.5x100 now. If you can't get it to run at 133 your memory timings may be to aggressive.

Update the BIOS.
