I have a problem but I'm not sure if it's a hardware or software problem.
Everytime I restart, the hard disk controller (secondary IDE controller dual fifo) has a code 10 problem. I have two cd-roms hooked up to my secondary IDE slot, and none of them work when I restart. If I totally shut the computer down and then reboot again, it will show up and everything will be smooth. I only get errors when I restart. Is this a BIOS or OS problem? I'm running 98, and I've never had this problem before. I've tried switching the slave/master configurations, but it doesn't work. I'm not using any of the RAID capabilities. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've called Abit tech support but none of them speak english very well and it's also long distance. I'd appreciate any help that anyone can give!
