ABIT KG7-RAID FASTEST AMD XP PROC

Looking for the fastest proc for the abit kg7-raid. I know the abit website says that it supports at the highest an amd xp 2100+. I also found an article on the web about someone getting an amd xp 2400+ working on a kg7. I was wondering if anyone knows if an amd xp 2600+ revision A (266Mhz FSB) would work on my kg7-raid motherboard. Any information on this would be appreciated.
