Abit KG7-RAID any good?

I'm starting to shop around for a DDR motherboard and just discovered the Abit KG7-RAID. It seems to have been out for a while (there's a BIOS patch on the website from march), but I haven't seen any reviews, information or even discussion of it anywhere.

Abit used to have a very good reputation and I have an Abit BM6 I've been happy with, but I've seen rumors to the effect that Abit's quality has dropped and they're losing their "AMD certification", etc, and the lack of coverage on the KG7 make me wonder if this is true.

Anyone have any info on this board or can point me to some reviews of it?

As a separate question - does anyone know when SIS 735 based motherboards should start showing up in the market?

Thanks!

I just saw it today on Pricewatch (Spartan Technologies and PC Progress list it). Page 10 of the AMD761 MB listings.

One of the listings gives a 6/26 ETA, which in combo with my never having heard of it before makes me think it's new, but that patch dated from march (and a websearch showing a forum mention of it in January) makes me think it's been around. Wierd.

It is new. I'm not sure how good it is, but it is going to have some features no other ddr mobo has. Like 4 dimm slots. It probably will be very stable, because they were just working out the kinks and saw the problems of the other mobo's so that it could be fixed.

well if it is like previous abit boards...then go for it... i have the KT7-RAID and love it for two resons. one, Softmenu III is great for overclocking, and Abit takes care of you if something goes wrong, aka, my north bridge fan made horable grinding noises when i got the board. I called them and the next day, i had a new hsf assembly for the northbridge sitting at my doorstep....i am an abit fan, however i always like to wait and read some reviews.....

Ouch! price quoted at Spartantech.com is $199. Looks like there will be a premium for wanting the best.
