Abit KG7 Help!!!

I'm currently building my new Athlon system,

but I have some problem to make my rig work.

It didn't try to post and even make any beep.

Also either power or reset switch doesn't work

and I can't see any signal in my monitor.

There is just "no video" message which IL can't figure out.

I first thought that it was CPU problem

and I changed it to new Athlon XP, but it doesn't still work out.

Now I think it might be mobo thing and I want to replace it.

Any Idea about this problem?

I'll be very appreciate if you give me any help. Thank you.

-The system I'm currently building is :

Athlon XP 1700+
Abit KG7
Crucial 256MB PC2100 DDR x 2
Seagate Baracuda ATA IV 40GB X 2
Gainward Geforce3 Powerpak Golden Sample
Hercules Gaming Theater XP
3COM 905BX
Pioneer DVD 16X
Liteon CDRW 16X10X40
Aquastealth Water cooling Kit
Planar 17" LCD

2 things to look into:

1. Test the PSU. Take it out of the case. Disconnect everything from it. Take a paper clip and connect one end of the clip to the green wire and the other to any black wire. Turn on the PSU. If it fires up a bit, then it is ok.

2. Make sure that your LED and power connectors from your case are properly connected to the mobo headers. Sometimes the slide out or you might have them in the wrong spot. Hard to read those sometimes.

Good Luck! 😀
