ABIT KD7-Raid or AT7Max2??

Does the KD7 have firewire? I see it works with the media-xp add-on abit makes. That has firewire, but i thought you needed firewire on MB for it to work. Any ideas? Anyone have either of these boards? At7Max2 is a little much for me(features and price)

AT7-MAX2 does have the firewire.
KD7 does NOT.
MWave has a better price for the AT7-MAX2.
S V C has a lot of well priced equipment, with better freight prices for heatsinks, cables. etc.

I guess im paying the extra and getting the AT7-MAX2! I want Firewire onboard :frown:

BlackFlagg , have you considered the nForce2 boards like from Epox or is the price too much? They`ve firewire.

I don't think you can miss with the AT7-MAX2, it looks like it is far and away the best of all of the KT400's with the options it has.

Yeah i've thought about the Nforce2 boards. I really like them, but the 2 abit boards i listed are supposed to let you change you CPU multiplier without unlocking the cpu! I amy wait and get the nforce2. I got the upgrade bug :b
I do like the way the nforce2 hadles 2 banks of memory so nice. Plus then you have the kt400a coming out as well.
