Abit K8T890 AX8 Mothebroard Ram Trouble

Hi, I have the motherboard that is in the title. I have 2 "Value Select" Corsair PC3200 512mb ram, and 2 XMS Corsair PC3200 512mb Corsair, all 2.0 CAS Latency. My motherboard supports dual channel, and has four slots. The problem that I am running into is that it will not even start up when there are more than 2 slots of ram being used. I made sure that it starts up and recognizes the two different sticks of ram in the first two slots, (two eliminate the idea of the motherboard not liking two different models of ram). All of the ram is DDR-SDRAM. I think my problem is that it will simply not accept more than 2 slots of ram running on the startup. I forced 2T from within the BIOS, and still no such luck. There is no BIOS upgrade avaliable. Ant ideas on how to fix this problem?!

Many thanks in advance,

1st...you have a bad attitude. Bring the PC to a repair shop if you want instant feedback.

2nd...Corsair VS is CAS 2.5 or 3, not 2.0! It is clear that there is a compatibility issue with the RAM if the MB will only boot with two sticks (same type). There is no GUARANTEE when working with different RAMs. Don't reply with "they work with another MB, therefore, there must be a problem with this MB".

Try CAS 2.5 or 3.0 with 2T timing when using four sticks.

Nope, try checking out these posts. http://forum.abit-usa.com/showthread.php?t=109007&page=2 Generic answers normally don't solve these types of problems. And yes, they are the same motherboard, except for a slightly newer northbridge chipset, and the pci-e vs. agp.

Oh, and the only reason why you looked at this post was b/c of the recent posting I did, and for it having 3 posts. I bet that if I hadn't had posted again, you wouldn't have given it a second thought.
