i guess nobody has try this out yet. so i have to test it out myself. follow the instructions from www.vr-zone.com, i put a 33k instead of 30k. it works!!!!!!
in bios set up, i still got 1.85v reading as before, go to check it out with the via monitor reading is 1.94v, now i go back to bios setup, try 10x no go, then 9.5x no go, 9x is ok.
so my duron600 is at 900 now, one important thing to remember alpha hsf is a must, my temp reading now 45 max.

I have been looking for a way to get past 1.85 also. Saw the post at vr zone and began seraching the forums and ran into your post here. Thanks for helping me get the nerve to solder my motherboard !

Anyway I have a 900 Tbird (boxed retail)using the stock fan&heatsink @1000 on an Abit KT7 with 1.85V but still not 100% stable.after reading your post I went and found an old power supply and removed A 33K resistor, soldered some extensions onto it and then melted it to my new MB and held my breath as I hit the power button----> Long series of beep codes and shut down, Oh Sh*t. Well it sounded like the code for no video and there was no signal to monitor so I reseated the geforce ( also new) a couple times and then boot success ! Set to 10.5 and all was well @1050, so I tried 11 and got error codes and lockups and returned to 1050 and happy and stable. Now I have a duron 600 sitting here beside me that was running stable at 900@1.85V, guess I will have to test it soon with new voltage. Oh and as far as heat it seems to be doing fine with the stock setup, just looked at HWM and it was 89f with 1.95 Vcore. I will post a link to my site where I will get captures posted under the link for WEB STUFF.

cpars,
you have 2 cpu to test on this system right?
just wondering is there a big difference between o/c 600 @ 900 and tbird 900 no o/c.
i have k7 500 classic o/c @ 850 2/5 cache and this new duron 600 @ 900, it seems to me that the k7 classic @ 850 is faster than the duron, think of getting a tbird just waiting for a good price, let me know thx.

Fastvid,

To tell you the truth I do not see any difference under gameplay or normal windows operations, just had the need to break the 1000 barrier.
If I had it to do all over again probably would have stayed with the Duron.

$83.00 vs $329.00 at the time I bought it.

I noticed there had been several hits to my page after posting here but I did not have it updated yet. Just finished updating a minute ago.
