I Have A Intel X3380 ES I Just Instaled In My Abit IX38 QuadGT Motherboard
And Win I Turn My Computer On It Will Keep Restarting
And Has A Blank Screen Whin It Quits Restarting

If Anyone Has Some Ideas That Might Help Let Me Know

The Post LED Shows 90 Whin I Turn It On And Does Not Load
I Have No Clue What The BIOS Version Is

The Battery Is Not In The Motherboard

I'm confused are you booting without the CMOS battery in? or Did you take it out, clear the CMOS, and put it back in?
Also you don't know a post code of 90, it is 9.0 (read your manual).

Was this ES CPU always in the board or did it suddenly just stop working?
If it was working, what was the last few things you were doing on it?

No I Am Not Booting With The CMOS Battery In It
I Do Not Have A Manual So I Did Not Know That

I Just Put The CPU In And It Would Not Boot
Some One Posted On Anouther Forum And They Said The Abit IX38 Is Not Compatable With This CPU

I Also Have A Gigabyte UD3R I Tried And The Phase LEDs Where On 6
And It Would Boot For 1 sec Then Shutdown With A Blank Screen
With The X3380

😵 Well put the CMOS battery back in.

Your not supposed to boot without it.

the BIOS screen will tell you as it POSTs
the uGuru GUI will tell you (probably the easiest way if you have it installed)
other apps will tell you the BIOS date & you can cross reference that with abit published BIOS dates.
