I am looking at getting the IT7 Max2, but I look at Abit's site and it says DDR 200/266 for Ram. I am also looking at the Corsair XMS 512MB ram. Does this board not accept PC2700 or PC3200?

You know, I'm wondering the same exact thing -- for boards that say they support PC1600/PC2100 (200 and 266 respectively) can they take higher-rated memory?

The board is designed to work with PC2100 RAM. you can install the PC2700 or the PC3200, but it is NOT CERTIFIED to operate above the PC2100
qualification....but you could overclock beyond that design limit with the PC2700 or PC3200. If you want the capability of running with the PC2700 or PC3200
you need to move on to the MAX-2 series - but the RAM does not support more than 2 banks of the PC3200, none of the KT400's do.
