ABIT is7 , SATA and IDE drives... help

I have a new IS7 mobo, intel 2.4c cpu, 512 corsair ram in a new case. When ever I change anything it looks for a cd in the CD-RW drive? IF I go into the bios and exit it loads fine - WTF? I am a newb and would appreciate the help.
