ABit IS7 & Prescott Heat issue

Yeah hi gang, umm my 2.8Prescott is running at over 65 degrees on my Abit IS7. I know that Abit mobo's report temps a little higher but dang that seems pretty high. Anyone else have the same or close setup could post their temp please?

Thanks.

Oh btw, does anyone know where to get a replacement fan for the motherboard. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. God that thing is bloody annoying

You can easily replace that annoying fan with this:

Abit IC7 chipset fan replacement

Just be aware that the hooks that seem to be firmly inserted into your motherboard will usually pop out during removal of the OEM fan. A small dab of superglue on the prongs will fix that, so have a tube ready before you install the new fan.

Or another solution, that I add I have not done myself, is to use thermal cement and paste on a Zalman chipset heatsink that has no fan at all. I do not know how well this will work with a Prescott, however, which seesm to stress the mobo.

i use a musketeer to make sure i get the right reading but usually the abit is about 10 to 13 degrees over
