Abit IS7 new buyer checklist

Can someone tell me if you just got one of these boards what all I should do. All I have done is updated to the 13 bios. A checklist of settings and such would be nice. Do I need to change anything in the bios, turn stuff like PAT off, mess with the memory timings, etc. A checklist from some of the more experienced forum members would be nice. Do this, turn this off download this etc. I just built a 2.8 p4 with this board, getting average 3Dmark scores. Just want to know what I need to tweak and wading thru this thread is overwelming. I don't want to overclock. Thanks

There are my 3dmark scores, one before and after the bios, update. I think my memory timings may be off, or maybe I need to change other stuff in the bios.
I am using 2 sticks of Corsair DDRAM 256MB 32MX8 PC-3200.

if you aren't willing to overclock you're stuck with those scores. It's useless to complain about scores unless you're willing to overclock your parts to achieve these extremely high numbers like other systems get.

I'm not complaining, god no. I just want to make sure that I set my board up the way it should be. I've read tons of posts about memory timings and am not sure if I should mess with them. I have read about PAT and GA and am totally confused about this stuff. I never had any problems like this with my old AMD board. Was just hopeing someone would help a newbie out. Figure most would flame me before helping me.
