Hi i was wondering if the abit IS7-E had any temperature reading problems?
because mine is reading 45C idle and 69C under Full Load... i just dont see why this is possible im running my thermaltake volcano 7+ at full spead (6000RPM) and its just the same.. that is at default vcore and not overclocked..
Plus CPU-Z says my vcore is 1.46 volts is this true? the bios states 1.525 volts and if i overclock the cpu running at 1.7 volts the temps are the same except under full load it may reach 72C... i would return this motherboard but its been over 3 months since i baught it, and i didnt check the temp / voltage readings when i first used it..

i have checked for air bubbles or any trapped dust and everything... its all okay.. and temps are still the same

Abit board temps always seem to read high, especially the IS-7. And their volts always read low. Don't worry; your readings are just fine. Abit says that temps to 90 are OK. I've seen 77 running two instances of Prime 95 without errors. I don't get any benefit giving my CPU much more than 1.6 volts in BIOS; you can keep your temps down a bit by not going up to 1.7.
