I want to overclock more than 3.06 Ghz and right now im using Kingston ValueRAM pc3200 CL3 (KVR400X64C3/256 x 2)
the ram i have in mind are a kit of 2 Kingston HyperX 512MB 434 MHz KHX3500K2/512

or

a kit of 2 Kingston HyperX 512MB 466 MHz KHX3700K2/512

are the hyperx modules above supported by IS7-E and will i be able to overclock more than i am already doing with the valueram's?

I'm using Kingstone PC3200 ValueRAM on my IS7-E too, except mine are the Winbond BH-5 models. I don't see why either memory would not work with the mobo. i865/875 motherboards are known to favor higher latency modules over lower latency ones.

I may be about to get a couple of IS7-E2s, kind of a slightly watered-down version of the IS7-E. Will see how that goes :)

Supposedly the IS7-E2 is supposed to be a cheaper but stabler version of the IS7-E that cuts away with the bells and whistles and focuses more on performance, stability and overclocking headroom.

That's what I figured. The power circuits would have to tolerate more heat and pump out more juice for the PresHott. Positive side effect is that it might be beneficial for Northwood overclocking! :)
