looking at abits web siteI found this article Abit drawing they are giving 20 478 pin p4's away each week to enter you have to buy one of the follwing mb's TH7II(-RAID), BL7(-RAID) or BW7(-RAID) and register it online with abit then starting sep 14 each fri they pick 20 mb sn#'s and give the owner a pcga478 p4

You might want to change the title to reflect the "lottery with purchase" aspect of this deal....It's a little misleading as-is.....:p

They can't do this in the US...the lottery is premised on buying thier motherboard...All contests in US must not have a purchase stipulation...

Well, how is this different from contests/sweepstakes that you are entered in for registering a product that you purchased? For example, I got an APC Backup 350, and the registration card said about &quot;register your product for your chance to win a trip to Paris&quot;. I've had other similar &quot;product registration&quot; contests. So how is that any different than what Abit is doing? just wondering.

if you read real carefully there is an option to send in a postcard with your info. like im looking at my msft flight sim 2k box and how to win a cessna. it says register your product blah blah blah. then in really small letters it says *no purchase necessary. to enter sweepstakes send postcard with blah blah info to blah blah address.
