Ok so my computer randomly just shuts off yesterday. try to turn it back on today, and nothing is happening. open up the case, and notice that the motherboard just keeps doing a 01-99 loop with each loop lasting like 1-2 seconds. the only way i was able to make it stop was by shutting down the psu. i try resetting the cmos via the switch on the back, and that seems to have solved my problems. does anyone know what this was/is?

You want to watch for where it is stopping before it hits 91 which is the beginning of the shut down with 99 being off. If you look in the back of your User's Manuel there is an appendix with the POST code definitions which will drastically help you out. It's also on their website but I don't know where off hand.
