Which one is a better deal? What are the differences?

Im thinking of getting the new penryn chips, E8400 to be exact.

I was wondering which one would be a better overclocker.

Pro has better heat solution for MOSFET and North/South bridges. Supposedly also better quality components, but the fundamental manufacturing would be same. If you only want to overclock, nonPro or even E model should be enough.

The std IP35 is probably the better vfm (& the-E even more if you don't need RAID & firewire).
Ultimately the Pro is the better mobo but the % price increase from the std will be higher than the % performance increase.
