you'll want to set the variable resistor prior to soldering it to the board. you can also use a 10k POT if you don't have a 1k. just make sure to set it before soldering.

still trying to find out if this works on IP35-E and IP35. My guess would be yes.

i've been told in XS that the layout on the IP35-E and IP35 are slightly different.. use caution if trying this on those flavors.

Maybe Abit will include "no v-droop" circuitry in "IP35-Pro, version 2"....?

you would think.. all it does is add ~670ohms of resistance to an existing resistor on the board. costs pennies.
