After some hellish times with my striker extreme and corsair ram i am officially sick of my system. From reading around the abit ip35 pro looks like my best bet.
I was considering a g.skill 2x2gb kit however these are sold out among all my trusted stockists (UK).
OcUK Ocz 2x2gb 6400 reaper
Is the ram above fully compatible? will they run at the stated 800mhz with both sticks or will i be forced to downclock to 533-667? overclock ability?

Crucial Ballistix 2gb (8500C5)
These are also sold on the site and are bundled with ip35's, i assume these are fully compatible etc? Will the ip35 run 4 sticks? Will i have to downclock them?

Also are there any problems with this board i should be aware of?

I thank you all for your time

JEDEC 1.8V Kingston N5 DDR2 800 RAMs is my top choice for all Abit IP35 boards. Run very well at default setting. Easy 400MHz @ 1.8V/4-4-4-12-2T or +450MHz @ 2.1V/5-5-5-15-2T. I can push four sticks up to 576MHz/2.1V/5-5-5-15-2T with default VTT, NB, SB, and GTLREF setttings.

I like the Abit IP35-E because it's basically the same board, minus a lot of bells and whistles that I don't neee. It's $71 AR @ MWAVE.

which is of no use as he is in the UK. :p

Can't see any reports of the 2x2Gb Reaper having been tested http://forum.abit-usa.com/showthread.php?t=124502 but it will probably require using 1 DIMM to get into the BIOS to set 2.2V & then installing the second.
Shouldn't be a problem running it at DDR2 800 though (intel chipsets don't have unlinked RAM bus like nVidia's though so if you overclock the CPU bus then the RAM speed will change too).

IP35 Pro will also run 4 DIMMs (there are some people runing 8GB in them).

Like any board it has it's foibles but imo there is nothing major.
