Love the board, it's stable and OCs great.

One caveat though: when the computer boots up, my keyboard (thus the USB port) does not work after the POST screen, and then it works again once it boots into Windows. If I hit DEL quickly in the beginning, it does take me to the BIOS fine. It seems to not work right when JMicron screen shows.

The light is still on the keyboard, so it is not completely off. The reason this is an issue is because when I was installing the OS and it prompted me to press any key to boot from the DVD, I couldn't because the damn keyboard wasn't responding. My solution? Used an old keyboard using PS2 port.

Still, very annoying, and when OS isn't shut off correctly, there is a list of options: safe mode, normal mode, etc. Of course, I can't select any because the keyboard (USB) isn't responding.

Anyone else experience this? Is there a fix? Default BIOS that came with the MB BTW. Rev 1.1.

Is it simple as that? I feel stupid now... I will look for that in BIOS, thanks for the help.

LMAO. I just set-up a IP-35 Pro system this weekend and was having the same problems.

Another question - if I have my usb memory card reader plugged in when the system boots-up, it take literally five minutes before it gets to Windows. Will changing USB support to bios fix this problem too?

Probably not. You can go into the BIOS and set the HDD as 1st boot. Disable boot from all other devices. Root cause is a not-so-robust memory card reader.

It's best not to connect anything to the USB except for the mouse and keyboard if you want to use fast boot.

I dunno. Do you have all the unused boot options disabled? All I have is my "C" enabled. BIOS doesn't need to "look around".

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll play around when I get home and see if I can fix this problem. Never had this issue with any of my other mobos.

I've got a Mitsumi FA404 on mine which includes a card reader & I've got no delay on boot.

Okay, fixed the problem by Disabling the 'USB Storage Function'. Thanks for providing some hints folks!
