I've been trying all night to get my new IP35 to recognize the two IDE CDROM drives attached to it (my HDD are SATA). I flashed BIOS 14 already, hoping that would do it. I've cleared and reconfigured BIOS repeatedly and it still doesn't find them on startup. I see in the manual on p. 2-13 that there are options listed under "OnCHIP PCI Device" for the IDE and LAN controllers. Mine does not have these options, just the 1394 controller.
Can someone who also has an IP35 check your BIOS for me and confirm whether you have the IDE and LAN options under
nChip PCI Device"?
Thanks!
