I installed the audio drivers and reinstalled, but it said i need some Microsoft hd audio package which i can not find.

anybody using this board and have some insight?

BTW- i'm using windows xp x64 edition.
 
Noob question: What is your graphic card?

I'm using Abit mobo, but not IP35, mine is IX38 w/ ATi HD3870, the computer keep asking me about HD driver, which later I found that it's actually ATi HD audio which is asking.

Dunno whether it help, just give it a shot

MS UAA driver?
If so it's a common problem on boards with Realtek HD Audio & not just abits.
I guess that you did all your Windows uppdates before installing the Realtek drivers?
 
got it working, let windows update it self last night and woke up to it working.

no idea what did it but its fixed 😛
