Does it POST at all or do you need to clear it for it to even POST? Could be a dying battery...

I have had this board for a LONG time, the battery should not die. And Heidfirst might have it. The IP35-e is very sensitive with ram voltages.

well. my pc is okay now after i changed to new battery. I never encounter a problem like this before ( battery died and could not POST ). Usually, other pc can still POST even with died battery even after it is unplugged for long time. So some experience then for me. About Heidfirst suggest about RAM volatage i usually let it set by default. Maybe will try it as i always ignore it because i'm using standard RAM.

Thanks for all your time and help guys.

Interesting. My uneducated guess would be that something has to happen when the bootstrap is set during a brief moment when the system powers down. Maybe it needs the battery during that brief moment and if it doesn't, the bootstrap can't be set? who knows. Glad you got it working. My IP35-E is still chugging along happily.
