I've read that you can get a Q6600 Quad + ECS board at FRY's tomorrow for $199. Too bad Fry's is just too damn far away from me! 🙁

just grabbed one to replace a MSI 650i open box i got at newegg for $65.00 that does not overclock for jack, probably why it was returned.

The Frys deal is amazing, but I can't bring myself to freeze my ass off for hours hoping to get one. I live in Chicago, so the weather is a factor. 🙁

I was considering the Fry's deal with the e6750 and this M/B for $200 but I don't want to deal with the long lines.

Have you checked out the thread under motherboards? I had luck with mine by locking the RAM speed at a certain MHz and fixating the latencies.

Hmmm...had to engage. Purrfect companion to my Q6600 @ Fry's and Gemini II CPU cooler. Thank OP and Engineer. Abit review post updated to reflect new price. I think MWAVE has discontinued the IP35-E and replaced it with the inferior IP35-V.

3 year warranty, abit went to all 3 year warranty several years ago.

3 yr. You're going to have to wait late in 2008 to get an affordable Peryn. I'm betting that AMD will drop prices, forcing Intel to come out with value 800 or 1066MHz Peryn quads.

Not necessarily. You just need to make sure you follow the rebate instructions exactly, make copies of everything you send in, send the rebates on time and follow up to make sure you receive them in a timely manner.

I think I will jump on this one. I don't have a nice board from the latest s775 series.
