I did a search but can't find anything similar topics.
I just got a new IP-35 from Newegg and I can't power it up with my working Antec TruePower 430 or Neo480.
It powered up for 0.5 seconds and turned off itself. After 2 seconds it powered up for 0.5 seconds again and turned off again. This goes on forever.
I have been using the PSUs on another two AMD motherboard for years, and they also work fine on a new Gigabyte P35-DS3P and both of them work fine.
Anyone using a IP-35 with Antec TruePower 430 or Neo480?
TIA.

There are reports about boot issue with some Antec PSUs. That said, IP35-E works fine with my Antec SP 350 (20/4 plugs). I'd remove the board from the case and reseat CPU and RAM. Connect only mouse and keyboard to PC. Disconnect power from PSU and remove CMOS battery for one hour. Also put CMOS jumper in clear position. Re-start PC. If problem persists, then you may have a RAM issue. The industry's standard is 1.8V. If you have 2.0-2.2V RAM, then the memory may not boot. You may need to start with one stick in slot 1, 2, 3, OR 4. I only use high quality 1.8V DDR2 800 modules from established vendors like Crucial or Kingston. These shoud be able to hit 450 to 500MHz with 2.1V and 5-5-5-15-2T timing.

Thanks for the reply, jmIII and SerpentRoyal.
I have a non-E IP-35, so don't know if it is different.

I did try connecting only keyboard and mouse (no hard drive, no video card, no RAM).
Will try removing CMOS battery and jumper.

I do have memory that is not 1.8V (2 x 2.1V Corsair 4-4-4-12 DDR2-800 and 2 x 2.0-2.1V ADATA 4-4-4-12 DDR2-800).
I have two pairs because I was trying to build two systems.
Both pairs did not work on the IP-35 but they work fine on the Gigabyte P35-DS3P.
So far I always put two sticks onto the motherboard, so I will try putting in just one stick.
Will report back.
Thanks!
