Abit IC7 max 3 mobo with thermal right sp4 heatsink 2Gb 4X512 Corsair XMS one kit is Low latency. Intel 3.2 Intel Prescott cpu at 2.8 cuz of the ram is only at 200 fsb.
I wanna squeeze more life out of this. I ve had this mobo for years and only using it for web browsing and a occasional game of Starcraft 2. It can handle it fine but I know Abit is no longer a company any more. Ive upgraded the bios and this mobo still has alot of punch under the hood that I haven't even played with.
I'm gonna get some Mushkin Redline Ram 2 gb (1gbX2) kit with ddr500. Gonna get another 2 gig kit and hope it will work it. I've had the same hd and haven't even setup a raid or used the Onboard SATA chip.
I'm hoping 2 gigs worth of the right ram and the extra 400 megahertz will give it enough performance just for the purpose of internet and a game of SC 2 for a few more years to come.
