Abit Ic7-g Vs Is7-g

I keep hearing about the is7 series mobo being better than the ic7 series (when overclocked). Is there a comparison with these two boards with default settings? If there is, which one comes up the winner? Im thinking of upgrading soon and ive narrowed my selection down to these two. I wish I could pick both up, but since thats not going to happen now. I need to know whos better at default settings. Im not overclocking now.... thanks😀

well, let me put it this way

IC7-G memory score in sandra 4480/4463 according to Viper's Lair
IS7-G memory score in sandra (integer only which is second score) 5013 according to hardocp

Price of IC7-G on newegg $197
Price of IS7-G on newegg $165

So You get better performance (with latest BIOS which uses memory acceleration also called PAT) for less money with the IS7-G

these scores used the same CPU at default 800Mhz FSB DDR400 2.4C

Personally I'd go for the P4P800 Delux from Asus with a memory score of 5073 at default settings 2.4C

The P4P800 Delux is $144 at newegg
