I'm planning on building a budget core 2 duo system capable of some good overclocks. I was originally considering the Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 or the Biostar Tforce965PT, as both seem to overclock well, but this Abit board just looks too sleek to pass up (for the price anyway). Unfortunately there are no reviews as of yet and I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight to its potential.

I am surprised by the lack of interest for the $110 Abit IB9 myself.
I'm even more surprised by the lack of interest for the Abit AB9 QuadGT - but this I can understand, thanks to the inflated $240 being asked for a P965 motherboard.

it's not that there isn't interest but that there is very little info available, they're just too new.

I was interested in this board for the same reason as well. So far I've only been able to find a little bit on the abit forums about it and there is no actual review. From the looks of it, the board has no RAID controller :(

We are trying to get a board to review. Overclocking potential is decent at this time (around 385~400) but Abit is taking a look at it again. The board was designed with stability and excellent stock performance in mind, not pure overclocking.

Is the overclocking potential limited (if you can call 400FSB for $100 limited!) because of the passive cooling (which limits over-volting) or the BIOS itself doesn't have the options?

Thanks in advance.
