What kind of compatibility issue could it be? I saw a guy in the FS/FT forum with a compatibility issue as well. Via-based AthlonXP mobo and a GF4 video card and I think it might also have been an Abit board.

*is glad he is running an Epox board not the KR7A-Raid he almost went with. :D

History wise, Abit do seem to have more trouble with AGP video cards then any other brand.

I cant believe Abit wouldnt fix this probaly minor issue with the boards bios especially when its their own video card. Probaly just goes to show you what future support Abit will offer on their newer products.

hmmm i like abit, other boards have the same issues, but abit proves to be stable and oc friendly.

My BX board is running a 8500 128MB no sweat and still benches equivalent to a 1.6 or so AMD and P4.

I am happy.

I have the new SR7-8X and it runs well, and they have released BIOS updates to fix the AGP8x problems. I just can't verify this as I'm still saving up the cash for a new Radeon and waiting for the Radeon 9700, 9500, and 9500 Pro to come out.

Well it's not the first time Abit boards have had troubles with certain high power draw graphics cards.
I recall certain Abit boards were not compatible with the old GF2 Ultra, and GF DDR also.

A few Abit boards are imcompatible with Western Digital's BB line of HDD's also.
