Abit BX6r2 voltage

I just got a Celeron II 566/Abit Slotket !!! and have it running fine @850mhz and want to go to 952mhz but need more voltage, it only goes to 1.7v. Is there away to get it higher? Like 1.8-1.9?
Thanks

Do have the latest bios - QR 5/00? On my BX6R2, the user devined voltage goes to 1.9

With the BX6R2 (and most other late ABIT motherboards) set the voltage to 1.7, boot to DOS and reflash the bios (this must be done from a clean DOS boot - I use a formatted floppy with only the system installed) - when you've completed this, the adjustment allows 1.7 +/- .2V

I just tried that twice, had the voltage at 1.7 booted to dos w/floppy disk and flashed it but no go, 1.7 is the highest it will go...damn thing...any other ideas????? thanks

Tried that again just to be sure, had it set to 1.7v ran "awdflash bxr_qr.bin /py" and let it program without clearing anything....nada...still can only go to 1.7v. Is there a (safe)way to completely erase the BIOS and start over? any other ideas? Thanks

The trick is after saving old bios, answer no when asked to prog. bios, which will return ya to the floppy.
Then don't start the flash prog. as you previously did.
Just type :awdflash.exe bxr_qr.bin /py /sn /cc blah...or
whatever version your getting, though maybe you have done this already.
Geo.

UPDATE----finally got it to work, had to set the voltage to 1.7, go into the bios (awdflash bxr_qr.bin) and save it but dont program it and exit. Then run (awdflash bxr_qr.cin /cc) and let it program....and it set the default to 1.7v and can go to 1.9v....yipppeeee...thanks for all your help guys....
