I want to do a clean install of WINXP but my Abit board will not allow me to boot off the CD for some reason. This is the case with every OS or bootable CD. I have a Lite-On 16x10x40 drive and a Toshiba 32x CD drive.
In my bios the boot sequence is as follows, CDROM, A, C. I tried E,C,A to no avail as well.

Does anyone know what settings I need to change to get it to boot up?

Thanks

you need to set the bios to boot from cdrom 1st. Also I am pretty sure it will only boot off of the cdrom if it is set to master.
