Hi,
I am using an Abit bx6 r2 with an abit sloket to try to run a celeron 700. However, I'm having problems recognizing the processor. The softmenu only allows a multiplier of 9.0 (qr bios revision). I woudl actually need a 10.5 multiplier. Is there any way to work around this, or a beta type bios somewhere? I though maybe since the processor is multiplier locked that maybe the bios wouldn't have to directly support it. I'd appreciate any and all suggestions.
I wish I coudl upgrade past a celeron 700, but I'm a poor college student and this is all i can afford right now. I'd appreciate any help in making it work,
THanks,
Tim
