Previously I was running fine with 1 128mb stick in memory slot 1 of the motherboard. I just recieved my 256mb stick today and tried putting it into slot 2. When I rebooted it counted off to the appropriate number of ram 384 or so.. and windows performace tab says it has 384. However I get all kinds of random errors. Vsmon error or something, explorer error.. dll error.. ect. Nothing that hard locks the system just error after error. I tried removing the 128 stick in slot one and just running with the new 256 stick in slot one to test if it was bad ram. The ram works fine with not a single error. It's only when I run them both together. Do I need to put the 128 in slot 3 or 4 in order for it to work properly with all 384?

I have 128 in slot 4 and 256 in slot 3, that is if slot 4 is the farthest away from cpu, can't remember. I would never use slot 1 , or the closest to the cpu slot.
