Abit BX--Need to connect reset button & get it to work on ATX case

Just got this old board and have a C2 533 running nicely at 103mz fsb but am unfamiliar with the Abit's. The ATX case has a reset 2 wire lead but I can't seem to get it to work on the mb connector. The screen just goes dead when pushing reset and I have to power off then on. Any ideas? What's the sp-led for? I have to investigate whether I have the latest bios as there isn't a bios number on bootup.
