2 quick questions:
1. Can / do the new P3 1 Ghz+ (ie 1.1 or 1.3 ghz) processors work in this board?
2. Anybody experience the 3 pin on board fan power supplies quit working? Is there anyway to correct it?
I just recently bought a 7000rpm fan (galaxy g12 heat sink). At first it would only work in the second fan position (not in the CPU fan position). The HW doctor started to report on and off readings jumping from 7000+ to 3000+ to OFF. then a few days later it was always off. I removed the case and tried both pins again but nothing worked. I tried the old CPU fan and it would work. I plugged the 7000 rpm fan into the 3rd fan position (down by ISA slot) and it would run but not over 3200rpm. The old CPU fan would run in this position also, but there is no rpm reading for this position even though it is a three pin connection.
Any ideas?
