Abit BX-133 Raid MB.. when is it gonna be released? There is a press release on the Abit site.

Anyone comments on this MB? It seems like it will be a nice board. Will it support AGP 4x ?

Hmmm..
PIII FC-PGA 650 (cB0 stepping) overclocked to who knows??
PC133 RAM
A couple of the new IBM 30GB drives at RAID 0

Good?

it is a BX chipset. It does not support AGP4x as the BX chipset cannot support this feature, and it will not support 1/2 AGP divider since the BX chipset cannot support that feature as well

4x AGP does not matter. Especially if you have enough ram on board your video card. 1/2 AGP divider does matter for obvious reasons. How do you think they get past this? They can't expect people to buy this board, run at 133fsb, and buy a pci video card. I remember along time ago people said the BX boards would never support ATA66. I remember when they added 1/4 divider to the pci slots. Maybe Abit has found a way to add 1/2 divider for the AGP slot.

Well, I just bought an Abit BX-133. I think I should let you know now.... DO NOT GET THIS BOARD IF YOU OVERCLOCK!

I have a Celeron 2 566 which overclocked to 952 on my old BH6 at 1.85 (ran ROCK SOLID).

Well, the BX-133 auto detects your CPU's voltage rating and then ONLY allows a + or - of .3 (meaning I can only go to 1.75 now). The old flash trick on the BH6 doesn't work any more because the voltage of the CPU is detected EVERY TIME.

Now, my 952 can only run stable at 75 FSB, which means my once mighty 952 is now reduced to a meager 637! :|

I bought this board because it was supposed to be the "overclockers board". You'd think Abit would include a wide range of CPU voltage settings KNOWING that overclockers are using it (heck, you HAVE to overclock the friggin board to get to the advertised "133" FSB, which is what they are selling it to run at!).

Abit, I am so upset right now!!!!!! What a bunch of idiots! :|
