Does anybody have any experience with the Abit BM6 motherboard being able to use the Celeron II or PIII processors. Looking at the Abit Bios updates it does list a Celeron up to 600 mhz but nothing about the PIII
Intel processors. Also, if you use the FCPGA on this motherboard do you need an adapter and if so what kind. Thanks.

P3 - NO unless it is modified. Celeron 2s yes - I had a Cel 566 o/c to 892 on it for a while.

NO you do not need a powerleap. Use Powerleap only if you want to use a P3.

The BM6 cannot use the cC0 stepping cpu's without the powerleap adaptor, which means it will work with any 533a CII and some 566/600 CII's before the production switch from cB0 to cC0 stepping.
