Abit BM6 and PIII CUmine

Does anyone know if a PIII coppermine 550 mhz fcpga would work in an Abit BM6 mobo? The BM6 natively supports the Celeron II, so it should be able to run a PIII CUmine, right? Are the pinouts on fc-pga the same for Celeron and PIII? Thanks for all help.

Look on the side of the last ISA slot.

If it is revision 1.03, then it should work. Anything less than that is a chance at best.

If it supports C2, then it should support Coppermine. The voltages are close, and they're both FC-PGA.

Yeah, i've got the same mobo, and this is odd.

It can support the C2 natively. But i've heard you need the adaptor to use a coppermine. That really doesn't make any sense.
