Abit BL7-RAID Memory problem!

Ok, I recently got an abit BL7-Raid primarily because they (Abit) said it "Supports PC133 Unbuffered/ECC or Non ECC SDRAM, three 168pin DIMM module up to 3GB MAX", and I have 2 sticks of 512meg each ECC ram. I pop the ram in and I get no post just a bunch of beeps and the LED on the mobo says EC. WTF!?! Does this board take ecc or not? I popped in pc133 NON ecc ram and it works fine. I know the ECC ram works cuz its from my main system! Is the key the Unbuffered ECC ram and maybe mine is buffered? How can I tell?HELP! Thanks.
