ABIT BL7 (i845 chipset)

Im looking into p4 mobos (socket 478) and this one caught my eye. It supports SDRAM. I find this interesting. Does this mean it will not take RDRAM at all? Or does it mean you can go either way?
If indeed it only takes SDRAM, what is your opinion on SDRAM in a p4 situation? Isnt it bottlenecking the processors abilities? Is there any point in installing pc133 SDRAM in a p4? Does anyone use a setup like this?

I am prepared to take some performance hits to save money on the RDRAM, plus the mobo itself is quite affordable. I am just wondering if the hits will be extreme?

Thanks for any advice !

no.

but the 845 chipset itself is supposed to be very stable. The performance is not great though..
You can also try the via P4 DDR chipset
