I'm ordering a P4 2.4B processor and motherboard this week and am still iffy about what board to pick up.. My goal is to overclock the processor to about 3ghz but stability is VERY important to me... The BH7 is supposedly a great board based on an aging chipset - is the gigabyte's SIS655 chipset that much better than the 845pe chipset? Is dual channel memory going to make a big impact on the stuff that I do (video editing, photoshop, etc.) This is my current ideal system based on my budget - please let me know if I should be changing anything (i.e. is the 2.5ghz P4 worth the $30 extra, etc.)

*=Item I already own

Intel P4 2.4B processor with retail fan
Abit BH7 or Gigabtye GA-8SQ800
Pioneer A04 dvd-r drive*
Samsung 80 gigabyte 7200 rpm hd*
2x40gigabyte western digital 7200 rpm HDs*
2xSamsung ddr266 256mb ram (will hopefully upgrade to crucial pcr3200 or pc3500 memory)
Soundblaster Audigy MP3+*
Windows XP, Adobe premiere 6.0, adobe after effects, photoshop 7.0, etc.
Geforce 3-TI-200 video card with 64mb (I'm an occassional gamer so I MAY upgrade to a ati radeon 9500 pro)
Thanks again guys!

Your 2 sticks of DDR266 would match up best with the Gigabtye GA-8SQ800.
