ABIt BH6 Whats the highest CPU i can put in here...

Abit don't guarantee a P3 will run on this board... I've had a P3 550e@733 on here befoer and it ran fine... Has anyone or does anyone know if a P3 1G will run on here... My woman wants to upgrade her computer but don't have enough money to go the AMD route just yet so i figured a P3 1G would be a nice up from a Celeron 366@550.

With a slocket you can upgrade to a Pentium III 1.1Ghz (100 fsb) or if you want to spend a little less get a Celeron 1.1Ghz. If you want to spend more get a Tualatin Celeron 1.2Ghz w/ Powerleap adapter.

P-III 1GHz is $130.

Celeron 1GHz is $60.

If the computer is not used for heavy 3D, or and Audio Video ripping, the Celeron will be perfect.

Get a SlotKet that support it, and your BH6 in no time you gets to the end of the 20th century (Unfortunately the BH6 can not get to the 21st Century) j/k.
