I saw a post , a person posted his system specs with the Abit BH6 rev 1.0 and Celeron 1ghz. I have the same motherboard also, but thought it won't support that cpu. Anyone have this setup? If so, I want to upgrade to a Celeron 1ghz. Thanks.

Do a search on this board and you will see that yes, you can run a 1Ghz Celeron on a BH6.

What a great board in its day. I just upgraded the mobo in my sister's computer, and I had forgotten I had installed a BH6 in there and a Celery 300a @ 450mhz -- probobly three years ago or more. I got all nostalgic. Added the board to my spare parts bin -- it will live on in another system.

I have that setup. Works beautifully, just flash the bios. I use a slocket by Asus. Search old posts by "oldfart" for more info & good luck.

Yup. One of this kids PC's is a BH6 rev 1.01 with a Celeron 1G @ 1.12G. Works great. I've had this mobo since 300A @ 450 days as well.

You can even go up to celeron 1.1 with just a slotkit.

I run a P3 11000mHz (1.1 gHz which is 11x100) CPU on my Abit BH6 rev 1.0 at a 124 bus, so I have a 1365mHz CPU (11x124) working just fine. I use the SS BIOS.

Long live the BH6! I will put my system up against ANY 1300-1400 CPU in ANY game and bet I can get better framerates. P4/Athlon? Pshch! I chew them up and spit them out with my setup... and I'm serious.
